Saturday, April 24 Officers investigated a violent domestic disturbance at the Adrienne Village apartment complex. In this case, a married couple got into an argument that escalated into a physical altercation. The male suspect struck and injured his spouse and left the apartment prior to officers arriving on scene. The suspect was eventually found at his parents' home on Solano Way.
Monday, April 26 Officers attempted to stop a suspicious vehicle on Horner Street. The vehicle fled and drove into the back yard of a residence on Horner Street. The vehicle was stolen out of the city of Moraga. Two male suspects and one female suspect were arrested.
Tuesday, April 27 State Parole conducted operation "Clean Sweep" which consisted of county-wide compliance checks of selected parolees. Four Union City parolees were arrested in this operation. Members of the COPPS unit participated. The COPPS Unit is part of the Community Services section. COPPS unit officers have a variety of responsibilities and are involved in several programs that include, but are not limited to, Crime Prevention, Nuisance Abatement, and Neighborhood Dispute Mediation.
Officers investigated three vehicle burglaries that occurred in parking lots near the Texas Roadhouse and Chevy's restaurants. This case is under investigation by the COPPS Unit. |
