Officers responded to Kirby's Sports Bar in Irvington on a report of a stabbing. One of the security guards was stabbed in his waist while another stabbing victim was found by Officer Baca in front of Bay Street Coffee. Apparently the victim at Bay Street had been in the original confrontation with another group of males, and when the security guard went to break up the fight, he placed the Bay Street victim in a bear hug. While they were both together in the bear hug, the suspect stabbed both of them. Neither victim suffered life threatening injuries, and there were no viable suspect leads. Officer Settle is investigating the case.
