High school boys volleyball season's conclusion is here. There was a tight finish in the standings at the end of the season, like many people anticipated.

Mission Warriors remain undefeated in MVAL league play. With a 9-0 record, they have been dominating their opponents, including a 3-1 win over Washington and a 3-0 win over Logan. Not to mention, both of those impressive wins have come on the road. The Warriors are 8-0 at home. They have defended well, allowing the fewest points in the season with only 16 points thus far on the season. With their experience, Mission seems to be the favorite in the league to win it all.

Once again, James Logan Colts are among the top teams in the league. With their league leading 58 points, their high attacking offense will provide them to be ranked as one of the best. Despite a tough 0-3 loss to Mission a week ago, they came strong against American and beat them 3-0. They will finish their season at home against Kennedy.

Currently on the biggest win streak in the MVAL with three in a row, the Washington Huskies will try to carry their momentum to the post-season. With shutout wins against Alhambra, Granada, and Kennedy, the Huskies are on fire. Winning those games on a combined 7-0 score, they are now second in the league in allowing the fewest points on the season with only 18.

The inconsistencies continue for the Kennedy Titans. After going on a six game losing streak, the Titans were finally able to pull of a 3-0 win at Moreau Catholic. Things could be looking much different for Kennedy if that losing streak never happened. Even with the losing streak they had, they still remain fourth place in the league.

Moreau Catholic Mariners have a 5-15 record with a league leading 44 points allowed for their opponents. Recently, they have lost at Logan 0-3 and against Kennedy 0-3. The Mariners have a 2-9 record on the road.

On a four game losing streak, the American Eagles will look to finish off their season with a win at Kennedy. During the course of their four game losing streak, they have lost to Washington, Moreau Catholic, Mission San Jose, and James Logan. All of the games on the road.

Still without a win on the year, the Castro Valley Trojans are looking to avoid a having winless with their last game of the year against Kennedy. They have lost every game in the season by a score of 0-3 and have yet to score a point on the season.
