April 14, 2010 > Third annual South Hayward Stroll Third annual South Hayward Stroll By Simon Wong This annual community resource event, organized by the South Hayward Neighborhood Collaborative and the Hayward Area Recreation & Park District (HARD), is an opportunity for families from Hayward and neighboring cities to gather for a day of activities, fun, games, food, music and more. Vendors will have booths at which visitors can obtain information about the business and services offered and ask questions. The event aims to inform local residents of the support services and programs available to them - education, employment, environmental protection, health, family support and voluntary work - and to promote a sense of community. The South Hayward Stroll is co-Sponsored by the South Hayward Neighborhood Collaborative, HARD, Eden Youth & Family Center, Hayward Unified School District, South Hayward Parish and La Familia Counseling Service.
