Saturday, March 6
Officers investigated an assault at Jim's Bar involving a husband and wife. The victim was drinking with her husband at Jim's bar when the husband hit her over the head with a beer bottle; this assault and battery stems from a previous incident. The suspect was later arrested at his home and taken to jail. The victim sustained a minor injury.

Monday, March 8
Officers stopped a car for moving violations. While officers contacted the driver they noticed the grips of a pistol partially protruding from under the front passenger seat. The driver was detained; the gun turned out to be a completely realistic replica. However, during the stop and subsequent search of the driver and the vehicle, officers learned the driver was on parole and in possession of ecstasy and methamphetamines. The driver was arrested for drug charges and Parole placed a hold on him.

Tuesday, March 9
Officers stopped a car on Mission Boulevard for speeding. This driver was on probation with a search clause permitting the search of his person and vehicle. During the search, officers recovered three pounds of marijuana packaged for shipping and twelve thousand dollars in cash. Task Force Detectives assisted with this case by serving a search warrant on the suspect's home. He went to jail.

Wednesday, March 10
Officers investigated a robbery that occurred at the 7-11 Store on Whipple Road. In this case, a black male suspect walked into the store and pointed a black semi-automatic handgun at the clerk and demanded money. The suspect then fled on foot.

A citizen reported to the Police Department that a female was unconscious in the Skate Park. As officers from the department arrived, they saw two subjects caring for an unconscious female juvenile. Officers learned the female had been with other juveniles at the park and they had been drinking. When the female passed out, her friends became scared and left. A citizen that saw the female in the park reported the event to the police department. The female was transported to the hospital for treatment.

Thursday, March 11
Officers were dispatched to a residential burglary on Dartmouth Avenue. A short time later, officers contacted several subjects in the area of Teddy Drive and Sumac Drive on an unrelated stop. During the stop, property was located in the vehicle. At that time, officers could not confirm the items were stolen. A juvenile was arrested from this stop for an outstanding warrant. During a follow up investigation, officers confirmed the items in the vehicle were stolen from the Dartmouth Avenue residence.

More stolen property was located at the residence of one of the suspects. The subjects initially contacted were subsequently arrested for possession of stolen property. The two suspects were Fernando Gomez (born June, 1991) and a 16 year old juvenile. They were arrested for possession of stolen property and burglary.
