The flora beckons at Little Yosemite

Join the Fremont Art Associations' Digital Photography Group (FAADPG) on Saturday, March 20 for a fun adventure hiking in Sunol Regional Park. The group will make their way across the McCorkle plateau towards Little Yosemite. Spring is in full bloom at this time of year. The flora is breathtaking, the creek is rushing, and the falls in Little Yosemite gush with melted snow from the Sierras. Here you will discover countless photography opportunities in an ideal setting.
Please meet promptly at 10 a.m. at the FAA. The group will carpool to the park. Bring walking shoes, hat, water and a light snack, your camera, lens, hood, polarizer, tripod (optional) and lens kits. A Release of Liability is required of all participants.
The Third Saturday (S3) photography group is a free street level art outreach program sponsored by the Fremont Art Association and Cooksey-Talbott Gallery. The group leader is award winning local photographer Cooksey-Talbott. He is assisted by the 2009 FAA Artist of the Year, Jacline Deridder.
S3 activities take place on the third Saturday of each month. Activities are free and open to all who are interested in making photographs and having a good time. You will find programs ranging in complexity from beginner to advanced. The group participates in monthly field-trips; please check the calendar at http://faadpg.ning.com/events so that you are adequately prepared.
