March 3, 2010 > Start the day for students Start the day for students Stand up for schools Submitted By Brannin Dorsey, President Fremont Unified District Teachers Association Fremont Educators and other FUSD employees will be leafleting the community on the morning of Thursday, March 4 to protest the lack of education funding in the state of California. Leafleting will take place at all school sites 10 - 15 minutes prior to the school day. Later in the afternoon of March 4, from 3:30 p.m. - 5 p.m., parents, teachers, FUSD employees, and students will continue their protest by rallying on the corner of Fremont Boulevard and Mowry Avenue.
