Chabot College captures first place

The Chabot College Forensics team took first place in the Community College category at a recent tournament, and placed second overall among all competitors, finishing just behind San Francisco State. Of the 25 events Chabot entered, the team took home awards in 18 of them. The majority of awards were at the Varsity level.

Chabot also scored high at the Santa Clara University Invitational with two of its four teams advancing to the Varsity level.
"This year Chabot College Forensics has established itself as one of the strongest Community College Forensics programs in Northern California," said Jason Ames, director of forensics and communication studies instructor at Chabot College.
Chabot College is a community college offering more than 100 degree and certificate programs throughout the year.
