California Retired Teachers Association Division 91 (CalRTA) presented three $2,000 scholarships to Cal State East Bay student teachers. The association formally meets four times a year. Statewide, the focus is toward the wellbeing of educators. Locally the Tri-City community is enhanced by many responsible volunteer hours. Funds for scholarships are raised through donations.
