Benefit Concert for American Legion Auxiliary

Newark/Washington Township American Legion Auxiliary, Post #387 is a nonprofit organization which seeks to raise funds for Veterans' benefit programs and activities that enrich our community.
In the past year the Auxiliary has invested time and given donations of goods and money to the Livermore Veterans Hospital, Homeless Veterans Emergency Housing Facility, Operation Moms, Operation Dignity, Fisher House Foundation, Creative Arts Festival of Veterans' Art, American Legacy Fund (scholarships for children of deceased Vets), Post #387 Junior Auxiliary education, and the California Girls State Program.
A Benefit Concert is scheduled for Sunday, February 21 by three local musical groups: Newark Saxophone Quartet, Bacello Trio and Woodwind Trio, who are donating their talents for the benefit of American Legion Auxiliary programs. All the proceeds of the concert will go to these programs. For more information please write to ruwwen@aol.com.
