David Williams retires after 25 years of service

David Williams, Union City Street Sweeper Operator, retired after 25 years' service to the community. He was recognized for his hard work by Mayor Mark Green at Union City's Council meeting on January 26.
Williams' career with Union City began in the Streets Division on June 22, 1984, and was promoted to Street Sweeper Operator on July 1, 1985. He consistently maintained the highest level of dedication to his daily work efforts above and beyond what was required. Williams' retired on December 28, 2009.
"Our best wishes for a happy and prosperous retirement," stated Mayor Green as part of the proclamation. |
