January 27, 2010 > Fremont City Council Fremont City Council January 19, 2010 Work Session - Sustainability Listened to a presentation of the General Plan Sustainability Element. Topics included City responses to Climate Change, Mobility, Energy production and reduction, Water resources, waste disposal, Public Health and Wellness and Economic viability. Staff received feedback from councilmembers and spoke of drafting a "Vision Book," Land Use maps, determining goals and policies as well as maintaining a balance between housing and employment consistent with a City definition of "sustainability."
