Fremont Bank clients send holiday cards to U.S. troops
Submitted By Casey Boggs
Fremont Bank, in Northern California, has made hundreds of holiday cards available at all of the Bank's 23 locations for clients to send best wishes and support to United States troops serving in both Iraq and Afghanistan.
"Fremont Bank clients have shown an overwhelming eagerness to send our troops words of encouragement this holiday season, and we're honored and delighted to provide the cards and distribute them to the extraordinary men and women serving our country," says Fremont Bank's President Andy Mastorakis. "We are a community bank that serves the financial needs of our clients; but we serve a larger mission originally spearheaded by Fremont Bank's Founder Morris Hyman to support our friends, neighbors, and community members who are serving us overseas."
The late and much respected founder of Fremont Bank, Morris Hyman, was a decorated World War II veteran. His spirit of giving back and honoring the U.S. armed forces continues today throughout the Bank and its staff. |
