Lights for Santa Claus
Photos By William Mancebo
Santa's on his way and will be on the lookout for bright lights and unique decorations to guide his sleigh. In our area there are plenty of signposts for him which also light up the night for those using more traditional means of transportation. TCV has found several eye-popping decorations to greet Santa.
TCV readers are invited to send pictures (include address) of noteworthy decorations for a more complete listing. Pictures and/or addresses must be received by Wednesday, December 23 to be considered. All entrants will be shown on our website at www.tricityvoice.com.
To start your holiday decoration viewing, try visiting the following addresses in Fremont.
Crippsmas Place, Nicolet St.
Lights, cameras, action can be found in abundance along the streets of this neighborhood. Although the founder of this well-known attraction has moved, the area is still filled with colorful characters in wood and lights. Visit every evening through the end of the year. Donations accepted for charity.
38643 Glencoe Dr.
This collection of animated art is an annual event courtesy of Richard Gonzales and his friend Steve McCown. Always on the "don't miss" list, display is lit between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. every night until New Year's Eve.
Espada Ct. and Zacate Pl.
If Victorians are your passion, this is a wonderful place to visit. Here these grand homes are dressed up for the holidays with cutouts and lights. Drop by to be awed by the displays.
All of us at Tri-City Voice wish our readers a Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah.
