Holiday Anime Faire coming to Fremont

Submitted By Rena Dein

The annual Holiday Anime Faire will be happening right here in Fremont and features an arts and crafts room, an anime viewing lounge, Manga Start art classes, and a Manga Art Drawing room. Exhibitors and vendors will be there during the event including, Anime 101, Anime Palace, Collectors Universe & Anime, Fanime - the fan's con, Serenity Dream, P.M.B.Q Studios, Sakura of America and many more. (The Manga Start classes require additional fees.)

"The Holiday Anime Faire is the longest running, family-friendly Anime holiday event in the Bay Area. This is a great opportunity for fans to get together to do some Christmas and holiday shopping, and even make a cool Anime ornament for the tree. As a long time vendor and supporter, we think this is a great way to end the year," says Glenn Schmall, owner of Anime 101.

The $5 entrance fee includes a goodie bag and two activity tickets. More activity tickets are available for $1 each and can be used for creating art projects or to purchase snacks.

The event is co-sponsored by the Fremont Parks & Recreation Department and PMBQ Studios.
