Fremont Hospital appoints new CEO
Submitted By Jennifer June
Fremont Hospital, a 96-bed behavioral health facility serving adolescents and adults, has announced the appointment of Sidney Ono as Chief Executive Officer, effective November16. Ono has more than 20 years of hospital executive and operations experience at California hospitals, including experience at both private and public facilities. He holds a master's in public administration from the University of Southern California and a master's in business administration from Pepperdine University.
"I am honored to become a member of Fremont Hospital. From the doctors and staff members that I have met already, I can tell we all share the same passion for quality patient care, dynamic staff relations and an overarching results-oriented mentality," Ono explained. "I am extremely lucky to be joining an organization with such a solid base already in place."
Ono replaces Jay Kellison, who has been CEO at Fremont Hospital, a Psychiatric Solutions, Inc. (PSI) facility, for the past four years. Kellison has been promoted to Division President for PSI and will be responsible for 11 facilities in California, Nevada and Washington.
