November 25, 2009 > Festival of Trees Festival of Trees By Dustin Findley The Milpitas Parks and Recreation Foundation will hold its second, annual Festival of Trees gala fundraising event in early December. Trees are decorated, auctioned or raffled. The winners can take the tree home to use as their own holiday tree or donate it to someone else. Event proceeds fund the Foundation's scholarship program which benefits Milpitas residents who want to participate in Parks and Recreation programs but are unable to do so without financial assistance.
