Theatre Preview: "The Hobbit"
Presented by Irvington Conservatory Theatre
Irvington Conservatory Theatre proudly presents "The Hobbit" written by J.R.R. Tolkien, Dramatized by Patricia Gray and sponsored by Ohlone College.
Travel there and back again with Bilbo Baggins of the Shire and the wizard Gandalf the Grey in this epic adventure to reclaim a stolen treasure from a fearsome dragon. This is a literary classic for all ages, full of extraordinary characters that take audiences on an epic quest from the gentle Shire to the shadow of the Lonely Mountain.
"The Hobbit" is directed by Mrs. Linda Jackson-Whitmore, Artistic Director of Irvington Conservatory Theatre, performed by the students of Irvington High School, and guest cast members from other Fremont Unified School District Schools. This is the prelude to The Lord of the Rings Trilogy.
