The Fremont Art Association is pleased to offer Introduction to Digital Photo Editing classes utilizing Photoshop Elements. The classes are presented by local photographer and artist Jacline Deridder.
These classes are targeted for the casual photographer who has a desire to take their photographs to the next level. Photoshop Elements is an affordable version of Photoshop. It has a subset of the functions provided by Photoshop, but these functions are amply sufficient to handle all your photo needs.
Taking a Better Picture Tuesday, November 10 During this class, Deridder will provide an overview of Photoshop Elements and demonstrate the available editing tools. You will learn how to take a better picture and how to edit the picture to get the most out of the composition.
Photoshop Elements Overview Wednesday, November 11 Please bring your camera and manual.
Retouching and Printing Tuesday, November 17 Learn about selecting areas of a picture, integrating an object from another picture and how to edit out those distracting red eye.
Retouching and printing your photographs Wednesday, November 18 Selecting areas of a picture, integrating another object and red eye editing.
All classes are held at the Fremont Art Association's (FAA) Gallery from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Register on-line at www.cookseytalbottgallery.com/classes.php or in person at the FAA Gallery. The class fee is $30.00 per class. Drop ins are welcome until the class limit of 8 is reached.
