Nicolas Chabot's Stephan De La Cruz, Kyle Means, Dwight Flores and George Palmer wrestled and placed in the Cuesta College Tournament in San Luis Obispo last weekend. De La Cruz (141 pounds) lost his first match of the season in an 11-18 decision against Sierra's Norman Richmond. The men's soccer team lost to Evergreen Valley College (8-6-2, 5-3-1) 9-1 on October 27. On October 30, the team lost its ninth conference game against Gavilan College, 4-1. Chabot is 2-9-0 in conference and 4-11-2 overall. The team plays Skyline College on November 6 at Alden E. Oliver Sport Park. The women's soccer team went 2-0 last week. The team shut out West Valley College (5-11-1, 4-4-0), 2-0. The ladies held Cabrillo College (8-5-3, 6-3-0) to two goals and won the game 3-2. The team has a bye and resumes play against Evergreen Valley College on November 10 at Alden E. Oliver Sport Park.
