An area where students can gather and learn

Rancho Milpitas Middle School's vision is to have a "learning quad" feel with tables, complete with large parasols, surrounding a large potted tree (like a Japanese Maple) in the center. Students would enjoy sitting around the beautiful tree in the quadrangle at break and lunch times and teachers could use the area for outside lessons. The tree symbolizes knowledge and the students around it would be inspired to read, study and learn. Chris Cain, a sales executive from Valley Crest Landscaping Co., donated a 10 ft. Japanese Maple tree in a 30-gallon clay pot to Rancho Milpitas Middle School. Cain's generosity means Rancho is now a step closer to its vision of a "learning quad" feel on campus. The donation has helped enhance the school campus and has created an area where students can gather and learn.
This is the start of what everyone hopes will be a very special place on Rancho Middle School's campus. If anyone is interested in donating outdoor patio umbrellas and stands to complete Rancho's vision for its students, please contact Tony Frascone at Tfrascon@musd.org or call (408) 635-2656. |
