An estimated 30,000 individuals who have survived torture in more than 60 countries around the world have found their way to Silicon Valley to live, heal and build a new life. Staff from the Asian Americans for Community Involvement Center for Survivors of Torture will share some of these stories in "The Torture Victims Among Us," a free program on Tuesday, October 27, at 7 p.m. at the Milpitas Library.
