October 21, 2009 > Art field trip Art field trip Olive Hyde Art Guild will be visiting the San Jose Museum of Art on Wednesday, October 28. Meet at Olive Hyde Art Gallery at 10 a.m. and carpool to the museum which opens at 11 a.m. Participants will view three special exhibits, Alexander Calder: Color in Motion--inventive, colorful, animated mobiles; Ansel Adams, - his early, masterful, small scale prints, and Variations on a Theme: 30-40 contemporary artists in thematic groups - examples: environment; urban landscape; people, faith. The cost is $8.00 general admission and $5.00 for seniors. The tour will include a docent tour and a no-host lunch at the museum.
