October 14, 2009 > Castro Valley Library grand opening Castro Valley Library grand opening Submitted By Jean Hofacket Everyone is invited to attend the Grand Opening of the new Castro Valley Library located at 3600 Norbridge Avenue, Castro Valley. The program will be held outside the main library entrance. Please plan to arrive early and use public transportation; parking for the general public will not be available until after the ceremonies. Grand Opening ceremonies will begin at 11 a.m. and will include a ceremonial flag presentation, music, dance, speakers, and entertainers. The official ribbon cutting and the opening of the New Beginnings Cafe will be located in the Library as well. The Library will be open for business as usual immediately following the grand opening.
