Newark firefighters will be tending the charcoal and spreading their special BBQ sauce on chicken and Polish sausage. Accompanying the meat will be salads, baked beans, dessert and beverages. This event will be held at the Newark Pavilion on the corner of Thornton Ave. and Cherry St. from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Enjoy live entertainment and the opportunity to win great drawing prizes. Measure L will insure that Newark Citizens have local control of local funds for local needs. Come learn how your support will help protect Newark's quality of life and essential services such as: fire and 9-1-1 emergency response services, police patrols, anti-drug and gang prevention programs, senior programs, streets and community parks.
