September 23, 2009 > Olive Festival
Submitted By Mission San Jose Chamber of Commerce
Mission San Jose Chamber of Commerce will once again host their annual Olive Festival celebrating the versatility of the fruit of the Olive Tree. The ninth annual festival will showcase Olive vendor booths, a children's area with activities and games, the popular Car show and delicious food, beverage including beer and wine, and food demonstrations.
This year, the chamber is celebrating its 100th year at the festival offering live music, by the Canyon band, the Tony Bolivar band, and an Ohlone College musical surprise. The pristine setting on private grounds behind the historic mission within an Olive grove on soft grassy terrain offers perfect ambience.
There is no cost to attend, and free parking is available at Ohlone College Parking Lot E. For more information on the festival contact Bob Tavares at (510) 651-0600 or visit www.msjchamber.com.
