Mastorakis joins an executive team at Fremont Bank including CEO (and most recent President) Brad Anderson, Chairman of the Board Alan Hyman, Vice Chairman Mike Wallace, Executive Vice President Howard Hyman and Senior Vice President Hattie Hyman-Hughes. CEO Brad Anderson said, "Andy brings remarkable leadership qualities and extraordinary financial knowledge to Fremont Bank, and has a unique blend of community banking and large financial institution experience which will be a driving force in strengthening and growing our Bank." Mastorakis came to Fremont Bank from OneWest Bank (formerly IndyMac Bank) where he was CEO overseeing the bank's retail banking group. Prior to OneWest Bank, Mastorakis was executive vice president at Tri Counties Bank in Northern California. He also held various positions at Wells Fargo in San Jose, CA, including senior vice president, market president and regional manager.
