During the full day event from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., patrons will receive a top-notch professional hair style that includes consultation, shampoo, cut and blow dry for a $70 donation. Stylists of Ma Belle Hair Salon will donate their time and skill to Mother's Against Poverty (MAP), a Bay Area charity dedicated to improving the conditions of children living in poverty in developing countries around the globe. This is a catered event and participants can enjoy a variety of foods and beverages throughout the day. The salon is accepting appointments for Sunday, September 20. "One hundred percent of the funds collected will be going to children in need. We hope that people who are planning their September haircuts will book an appointment with us and help children in need at the same time," said salon owner and event organizer, Mojdeh Froozandeh.
