Kiwanis Club of Fremont member receives prestigious award
Submitted By Shirley Sisk
On August 14 at the Kiwanis California-Nevada-Hawaii District convention in San Diego, Kiwanis Club of Fremont Member, Julie Brahmst, was honored with the K-Family Builder Award. Kiwanis Governor Greg Mason presented her with a beautiful carved eagle trophy in appreciation of outstanding service in contributing to the growth of the District through helping to establish new clubs and working to assist in the growth of existing clubs. Julie has been a member of the Kiwanis Club of Fremont for 17 years. She is a Past President of the Club, Past Lt. Governor of the District and presently a District Trustee. Her contributions to serving the Tri-Cities with her involvement in the Kiwanis Club of Fremont's many activities in the community, especially those helping children, along with her many activities with the greater Kiwanis family certainly justify this outstanding recognition.
