August 12, 2009 > Four-time junior angler champion Four-time junior angler champion Submitted By Gilbert Orozco Thomas Orozco, 9, of Union City took first place in his age division at the International Game Fish Association (IGFA) Young Anglers Tournament held at Shelter Island Pier in San Diego on Saturday, July 25. In winning, Orozco caught and released jacksmelt, calico bass and mackerel during the three-hour competition, in which over 130 kids ages 6-15 participated. Orozco has won his age division at IGFA tournaments in 2005, 2006, 2008 and 2009.
