Consent Calendar
Entered into a five-year lease agreement in the amount of $53,800 with Ricoh Americas Corporation to replace copiers and printers. Only 11 of 12 leases will be replaced resulting in 40 percent annual savings.
Approved the Paramedic Special Tax for FY 2009-10. The current paramedic assessment is $15.00 per benefit unit and will not increase this year as it is at the maximum allowable
Set the Measure UU Public Safety Parcel Tax rate for FY 2009-10. The Public Safety Parcel Tax is projected to generate $3,314,200 in revenue to provide public safety services.
Approved the Association of Bay Area Governments' (ABAG) regional Residential Seismic Strengthening Plan for wood-frame houses.
Applied to the State of California Department of Housing and Community Development for Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program grant for no more than $900,000.
Redevelopment Agency to issue $40M of bonds to finance the acquisition and construction of a 100-unit multi-family housing rental facility by Mid-Peninsula Housing Coalition on the corner of 11th Street and Cheeves Way in the Intermodal Station District.
Vice-Mayor Dutra-Vernaci and Jim Navarro are the voting delegate and alternate for the League of California Cities' Annual Conference, September 16-18, San Jose.
