August 5, 2009 > Creative arts camp at Pathway Community Church Creative arts camp at Pathway Community Church Submitted By Martha McDowell Children and Family Ministries is offering a week-long "creative arts experience" day camp, sponsored by Pathway Community Church (formerly known as Thornton Avenue Baptist Church.) In this time of budget cuts affecting arts in the schools, this week-long session offers children, ages 7-12, an art experience through music, fine arts and drama. Included is an opportunity for them to participate in one of six electives in the afternoon: stomp band, hand chimes, scrapbooking, American Sign Language, photo editing, and kite making. The registration fee for this week of camp is only $50 and scholarships are available for those who cannot afford to pay.
