August 5, 2009 > Administrator selected for new Masonic homes community Administrator selected for new Masonic homes community Submitted By Laura Normand Lydia Hertzler was selected as Administrator of Acacia Creek at Union City, a Masonic Homes of California community, scheduled to open in January 2010. She has extensive experience in directing the operations of senior living communities, including successfully opening multiple communities. Hertzler will manage and oversee the start-up and day-to-day operational functions of Acacia Creek. For more than 100 years, the Masonic Home at Union City has provided compassionate care to California Masons, their wives, widows and mothers. Currently, it provides independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing to about 300 senior residents.
