Bill Mancebo's player spotlight: Ehab Daoudi
This week the player spotlight takes us to Fremont where we find 22-year-old Ehab Daoudi. Ehab chooses bodybuilding for his sport of choice. Daoudi is no stranger to sports as he played football, soccer and excelled at track for American High until he graduated in 2005. He currently hits the weight room six times and runs nine miles each week to maintain his peak condition.
Daoudi, a graduate from De Anza College in Cupertino, earned an AA in business administration in 2008, says he puts these skills to work helping to run the family business: Mr. Mikey's Country Store in downtown Niles. His inherited entrepreneurial spirit, combined with skill and drive, has him looking to start his own business someday soon.
At home Ehab likes to relax by watching any and all sports on ESPN. And when he's not munching on a sandwich from the deli at work, his snack of choice is always beef jerky. Dauodi also likes the nightlife and, when out, enjoys music, dancing and attending concerts. He also plays the drums when he finds time. Daoudi has been known to slip off to Las Vegas occasionally and can hold his own at the baccarat table, too.
