July 22, 2009 > Open mic night at Fat Sam's Lounge Open mic night at Fat Sam's Lounge Submitted By Samu Tiumalu The Milpitas Teen Center will be hosting "Fat Sam's Lounge" Open Mic Night on Saturday, August 1 from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Milpitas Teen Center (1325 E. Calaveras Blvd). Local performing group Soulful Spitin' and spoken word poet Marlo will be headlining the show. The open mic is open to any performers ages 12-21 (all 18-21 years old performers must fill out a "Performance Letter of Agreement" prior to performing and forms can be obtained at the show). All content must be PG-13. Sorry no full band set up available (acoustic set up ok). Doors open at 5:00pm with final open mic signs up ending at 7:00pm. There is a $3 admission at the door with all proceeds going to the Milpitas Teen Center.
