Consent Agenda:
Approve agreement with County of Alameda to collect taxes and assessments FY 2009/10 property taxes.
Approve consortium agreement with Alameda County to submit an application to Department of Housing and Urban Development for Neighborhood Stabilization Program.
Authorize City Attorney to cooperate with the League of California Cities, other cities and counties to challenge constitutionality of seizure street maintenance funds by State.
Amend ordinance to create an exemption for clean technology businesses from business taxes for a defined period of time.
Award a service agreement with Mark Thomas & Company not to exceed $250,000 for Niles Depot pedestrian crossing feasibility study.
Other Business:
Adopt resolution approving East-West Connector project. Recommend a Citizen Advisory Group to review mitigation action included in Environmental Impact Report.
Redevelopment Agency:
Amend Service Agreement in the amount of $137,125 to continue operation of the Niles Golden Spike program.
