A spectacular adventure awaits you
Join the Fremont Art Associations' (FAA) Photography Group for a day trip to beautiful Lake Tahoe where you will have literally hundreds of opportunities to capture that perfect photo. The theme of this adventure is Waterfall Madness and will focus on dramatic high sierra waterfalls including Eagle Falls and Horsetail Falls. Free on-site training will be courtesy of renowned photographer, Ralph Cooksey-Talbott. Ralph Cooksey-Talbott has been working as a photographer since 1972 when he moved to California from Michigan. During the 1970's he studied under Ansel Adams in Yosemite.
The group will meet Saturday, July 18 at 9 a.m. at the FAA Gallery. Drivers are needed for this 360 mile, 3-hour round trip. Gas costs will be shared by those who attend. The group will depart from Lake Tahoe after the sun sets on the pristine lake. A stop will be made for dinner on the trip back to Fremont. Please bring your camera, tripod, water bottle, lunch, hat and walking shoes.
The Third Saturday group meets at the FAA gallery for a variety of photographic educational opportunities and field trips. This is a free activity sponsored by the FAA. If you enjoy having fun with photography please join the group for an ongoing program of classes and fieldtrips. Join our Yahoo group "FAADPG" for the most current information on our activities.
