Supported League of California Cities' legal action challenging appropriation of local gas taxes (aka Highway Users tax Account) to the State's General Fund

Public Comments
Susan Gonzales expressed concern over the proposed power plant, toxic emissions and air quality.

Frank Goulart invited everyone to attend the 27th annual Zucchini Festival on Aug 16 & 17 and presented the musical program. Councilman Olden Henson will be the main stage announcer. Entry to the festival will be $4 for adults, $1 for seniors, children and disabled.

Barbara Fields appreciates that public safety calls must be prioritized but police officers are not being sent out for many calls. Callers are being told to file complaints online.
