Considered approval of fee adjustments for various City services and programs. The proposed adjustments will ensure that City fees are current and that costs for services are reasonably recovered through these fees.

City Manager Tom Williams requested the council remove the item from the agenda to allow staff sufficient time to prepare. Williams did not have a definite date but estimated that the item would be ready by August, 2009.


Joint Redevelopment Agency and City Council

Adopted the final budget of the City of Milpitas and the Milpitas Redevelopment Agency for FY 2009-2010. The budget calls for layoffs. Milpitas Employee Association addressed the council and implored that they all open a dialogue to find other solutions because the layoffs will affect the individuals, their families, and the community. The council adopted the budget.
