It will take place in the old Home Depot parking lot (1525 Landess - Corner of Landess & Dempsey) on June 11 through June 14. The event helps to fund the charitable efforts of the Milpitas Rotary Club. Proceeds will go to local student scholarships, the Milpitas Food Pantry, Rebuilding Together projects, Milpitas High School Student Interact Club, Rotary Youth Leadership Camp (RYLA), Polio Plus, Family Giving Tree, international relief programs, and may other worthy projects. The following Rotary sponsored activities will also benefit: Scholarship program for Milpitas High School, Leadership camp for high school youth (Camp RYLA), Youth Fishing Day/Outdoor Education program for Rose School, Senior Fishing Day for Milpitas Senior Center, Gene Schwab "Service Above Self" Award for Milpitas City Employees, Leo B Murphy "Excellence in Education" Award for Milpitas School Teachers The event hours are Thursday, June 11, 4 to 10 p.m., Friday, June 12, 4 to 11 p.m., Saturday, June 13, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Sunday, June 14, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Discount ride tickets are available for purchase prior to the event for $20. Each ticket is good for one day unlimited rides and are available at Jerry's Market, Subway and Calaveras Montessori. Three Subway locations are at Great Mall, 1476 N. Milpitas Blvd. and 1243 Calaveras Blvd. Full day unlimited ride passes on sale only through Wednesday, June 10. Some of the carnival rides Butler Amusements will be bringing include Century Wheel, Gravitron, Himalaya, Zipper, Carousel, Flying Swinger, Tilt A Whirl, Scrambler, Slide, Tornado, Orient Express Kid Coaster, Renegade, Rio Train, and Rock 'n Tug, according to Andrea Owen, Booking & Promotions.
