He joined the City of Newark as a police cadet in Jan 1990, became a temporary Communications Operator in May 1991 and was promoted to full-time Public Safety Dispatcher in April 1992. Reymundo provides vital services that are critical to the safety and well-being of the community and to Newark's firefighters and police officers who entrust their lives to him and who rely on him daily. He is professional and calm in all scenarios and is valued and respected for his depth of knowledge, expertise and work ethic. Reymundo was previously honored as Dispatcher of the Year in 1996.
