Summer Reading Game theme is "Be Creative"

You can do that! Get some ideas from our blog at http://summereadingame.com. Come in early and sign up for the Reading Game to win prizes starting June 8. Come in to enjoy our shows.
We will also be having Kid's Art Camp for six weeks. There will be two different days and times to sign up for, either Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. - 12 noon or Fridays from 2 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. This is for 7 year old children and older. Call (510) 795-2627 x 7 to register after May 26. The program will be held on Tuesdays or Fridays from mid-June through July.

Saturday, June 13 at 2 p.m. - Origami with Ignatius and Ashley
Saturday, June 20 from 11-1:30 - Newark Library Craft Fair
Saturday, June 20 at 2 p.m. - Donny Crandell will do magic for us.
Thursday, June 25 at 7 p.m. - Family Storytime at the Park
Saturday, June 27 at 2 p.m. - Singer, Francie Dillon will have the children singing along with her.

Newark Library is located at 6300 Civic Terrace Ave, in Newark and is wheelchair accessible. A sign language interpreter may be arranged by calling the Library at least seven (7) days before the event or TTY 888-663-0660. The Library is open Tuesdays and Thursdays 1-9 p.m., Wednesdays and Fridays 10-6 p.m., Saturdays 10-5 p.m., and Sundays 1-5 p.m.; closed Mondays.
