Mammoth Day
On May 16, the Math Science Nucleus will host "Mammoth Day" at the Children's Natural History Museum in Fremont. "Mammoth Day" provides an opportunity for children to engage in four fun natural history-oriented activities, as well as readings and other fun games.
From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., children will paint replica mammoth teeth, search for fossils, make replica arrows and arrowheads, and create and decorate mammoth or saber tooth cat headbands.
The proceeds from this event will go toward several much-needed improvements to the Children's Natural History Museum.
