April 8, 2009 > Hayward Idol Hayward Idol The Fourth Annual Hayward Idol will be held on April 11 at the Douglas Morrisson Theatre in Hayward. The "Top 11" Finalists from the Hayward Idol Auditions held on February 28 and March 7 are going sing their hearts out for the finals. Each contestant will have the opportunity to sing two songs in front of the judges and audience. Judges will consist of local vocal instructors and music educators. The top three finalists will be awarded an IPod and an ITunes gift card. This year's contestants are Chavonne Johnson, Merilisse Beyelia, Ingid David (front row), Tania Dib, Julia Ortiz, Vanessa Rivera, Emma Silver, Jenna Bowoo, Christina Hurtado (middle row) and Breanna Brugette, Angele de la Cruz (back row) Tickets can be purchased for $8 at the Douglas Morrisson Theatre.
