No Clue loses again
Submitted By Blaise Castren
No Clue, an FC Fremont girls U-15 house league team, dropped its second straight 2-0 game on Saturday, March 14, this time to the Panthers.
Like the previous week, No Clue yielded two breakaway goals. Goalie Sara Hearn made three saves in the first half for No Clue before the Panthers scored their first goal.
Samantha Stephens took over the goalkeeping duties in the second half for No Clue. She made two saves and just missed making a sliding save that resulted in the second Panthers goal.
Claire Castren played well on defense for No Clue, and also made a nice feed to Susana Luna near the Panthers' net. Amy de Landa, who had a shot early in the second half, and Kailey Richardson played well at midfield for No Clue. Ciara Valdez also had a shot for the losing team. |
