March 18, 2009 > Dinner of the Year Dinner of the Year Submitted By Lou Horyza Photos By Courtesy of Frank De Smidt and Peggy Horyza The Knights of Columbus Council 5796 will host the 35th Annual Citizen, Firefighter and Police Officer of the year for 2009 on Saturday, March 21 at St. John the Baptist Parish's Pavalkis Hall in Milpitas. You are invited to join us as we celebrate Barbara Gomes Bowman as the 2009 Citizen of the Year, Steve Moore as the Milpitas Firefighter of the Year, and Tim Campbell as the Milpitas Police Officer of the Year. Christine Sanchez, Carmen Montano, Zeya Mohsin, Anil Godhwani, Kris Karlen and Barbara Gomes Bowman will be recognized as nominees for Citizen of the Year that evening. Enjoy a fantastic buffet dinner with great friends and Milpitas' best. The Knights of Columbus Council 5796 will host the event and will have a special tribute to all former recipients to honor them for their distinguished services to the Milpitas Community.
