Curves offers free weight management classes

Members and non-members are invited to attend free weight management classes at Curves. They cover a proven method for losing weight and raising metabolism, based on findings of the Exercise & Sport Nutrition Laboratory at Texas A&M University.
Call a Curves near you to obtain a class schedule, which includes:
* Start-Up Class (90 minutes) for first-time participants.
* Special Topics Classes (30 minutes) covering a different topic each month, including Smart Grocery Shopping, Choosing the Right Carbohydrates, Eating Out, Emotional Eating, and more.
* Phase 3 (30 minutes) to address maintenance.
Classes are taught by a registered dietitian and facilitated by weight management coaches through a series of DVDs that alternate teaching with hands-on activities. Participants are encouraged to make a weekly appointment to weigh in with their weight management coach.
No purchase is required to attend, but participants can choose to take advantage of special pricing on products such as books, supplements and protein shakes.
