Originally from Finland, Seilonen has worked with seniors for the last 15 years. Her professional experience includes serving as Executive Director with the Carmel Village Retirement Community in Fountain Valley, California. Prior to that, she was Executive Director at Chateau San Juan and Manager of Carmel Village Retirement Community. Her background also includes managerial positions with Cultural Homestay International, Palm Terrace Health Center in Laguna Hills and Goddard House Nursing Facility in Boston. During her career, she took a three-year hiatus and co-founded Ordinary Women, Inc., a charitable non-profit humanitarian aid organization currently focused on community-based projects in East Africa.
