February 4, 2009 > School bond committee to meet School bond committee to meet Submitted By Robert Monkman Fremont Unified School District's Citizens Bond Oversight Committee will meet Wednesday, Feb. 4 from 7 - 9 p.m. at American High School. The committee oversees spending of the $157 million 2002 Health and Safety Bond. This meeting will cover the status of bond projects at American High School as well as general business, including public outreach and a status report of all projects in pre-design, design, and construction stages. As always, the public is invited to attend, and there is an opportunity for public input. At the January meeting, the committee heard improvements planned for Parkmont Elementary, public presentations of the bond project's status, and the status of all of the district's bond related projects.
