February 4, 2009 > Guys' Night In Guys' Night In Fun, video games for teenaged guys By Meenu Gupta Photos By courtesy of Amy Davis The Silliman Activity Center will close after 8 p.m. Saturday, February 7th, and activities for the participants of "Guys' Night In" will begin. They will have exclusive access to the gym and teen area all night long. Guys will enjoy all night sports, pool tournaments, movies and games. Teens are required to bring a pillow, sleeping bag, and a flashlight for games. Snacks will be served throughout the night, and breakfast will be served in the morning. The fee is $22 for Newark residents, $24 for non-residents. Interested teens may register in person at the Silliman Center Front Desk from Monday-Friday between 8am to 5pm. Those teens who already have a teen membership, six month or annual, receive a 10% discount off the price. You may register online, but the discount is not available with online registration. Teens in 6th-12th grade can participate. "Our Guys' Night In program is one of the Silliman Teen Area's most popular programs, typically reaching a maximum of 30 teens. Teens and staff spend the night in the Silliman Center playing video games, competing in sports and pool tournaments, and eating," said Amy Davis, Recreation Coordinator.
